Was the Christchurch mass shooting committed by a lone gunman as claimed by the New Zealand government?

One event that is conspicuously swept under the carpet and rarely discussed is the mass shooting that took place at the mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand. The official story from that bastion of truth, Wikipedia, goes something like the following.

On 15 March 2019, two consecutive mass shootings occurred in a terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. The attacks, carried out by a lone gunman who entered both mosques during Friday prayer, began at the Al Noor Mosque in the suburb of Riccarton at 1:40 pm and continued at the Linwood Islamic Centre at 1:52 pm. 51 people were killed and 40 were injured.

Max argues that the “lone gunman” story is an outright lie.

Heavily censored

An obvious red flag is the fact that the New Zealand government prohibits its citizens from watching the video and from reading the killer's manifesto.

Why?

Apparently, according to the New Zealand government, watching the video is “objectionable” and everybody must be protected from freedom of choice and critical thinking.

The media, agrees and believes that only journalists should be permitted to watch the video because journalists are the arbiters of truth and totally care about facts and the mental wellbeing of readers.
