Operation Avalanche is a 2016 American-Canadian found footage conspiracy thriller film directed by Matt Johnson, who co-wrote the film with Josh Boles. The movie is about two young CIA agents who infiltrate NASA in 1967, posing as documentary filmmakers to capture NASA‘s race to the moon. They discover that NASA is losing the space race to the Soviet Union and decide to fake the moon landing.
