Depopulation and Human Control
The Communist Socialist System – Alan Watt – 6 Apr 2018 | AstralWalker
In this talk from New Year’s Eve 2017, Alan Watt describes the brutal communist socialist control system and how it compares with what we see happening today.
Communism is a political and economic ideology that aims to replace private property and a profit-based economy with public ownership and communal control of at least the major means of production. The communist control system is characterised by the rule of a single party that tolerates no opposition and little dissent. In place of a capitalist economy, party leaders establish a command economy in which the state controls property and its bureaucrats determine wages, prices, and production goals.
“You’re living in an age when you have to believe nonsense. Insane mandated nonsense.”
– Alan Watt
Communist Control
- Single Party Rule: Communist regimes are characterised by the rule of a single party that tolerates no opposition and little dissent.
- Command Economy: In place of a capitalist economy, party leaders establish a command economy in which the state controls property and its bureaucrats determine wages, prices, and production goals.
- Collective Interest Over Individual Rights: Under the communist systems of Eastern Europe, the “collective interest” of the people, as determined by the communist party, overcame any claims to individual rights. Thus, the government harshly suppressed freedom of speech, press, and assembly.
- Nomenklatura System: Communist parties were all structured according to the principles of democratic centralism, although they varied somewhat from country to country. The different functions of the Communist party are examined and the nomenklatura system is explained, which is vital to understanding how Communists kept control over society.
- Surveillance: Surveillance, such as characterised East German and Soviet societies, was common.
- Inefficiency: The inefficiency of these economies played a large part in the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
